Extracurricular Activities
At Libertas Scholars College Prep, we believe that a well-rounded education includes not only academic excellence, but also opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community engagement by offering a wide range of extracurricular activities that allow our students to explore their interests, hone their skills, and develop their characters.
Our extracurricular activities are designed to challenge and inspire our students to be their best selves. We are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive and challenging education that prepares them for success in higher education, careers, and life, and our extracurricular activities are an integral part of that mission.

meet the diverse interests and needs of our students.

Model United Nations
Our Model United Nations club allows students to develop their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking. Students participate in simulated UN conferences and develop their knowledge of global issues and current events.
Debate Club
Our Debate Club allows students to develop their critical thinking, research, and public speaking skills. Students participate in local and national debate competitions and develop their ability to argue effectively and respectfully.
Robotics Club
Our Robotics Club allows students to develop their skills in engineering, programming, and problem-solving. Students design and build robots to compete in local and national robotics competitions.
National Honor Society
Our National Honor Society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members participate in service projects, leadership development, and academic support for their peers.
Community Service
Our community service program provides students with opportunities to give back to the local community and beyond. We partner with local organizations and international nonprofits to organize service projects that address pressing social and environmental issues.
Student Government
Our student government program allows students to develop their leadership skills and represent their peers. Students participate in student council, organize school events, and work with faculty and administration to improve the school experience for everyone.
Entrepreneurship
Our entrepreneurship program allows students to develop their skills in innovation, problem-solving, and business planning. Students work on real-world business projects and develop their own start-up ventures, with the guidance and mentorship of experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals.
Creative Writing
Our creative writing program allows students to explore their literary talents and develop their skills in writing, storytelling, and critical analysis. Students participate in workshops, writing contests, and literary publications, and develop a portfolio of their work.
Coding and Computer Science
Our coding and computer science program allows students to develop their skills in programming, data analysis, and web development. Students participate in hackathons, coding competitions, and real-world software projects, and develop their own applications and websites.
Cultural and Language Clubs
Our cultural and language clubs allow students to explore their interests in different cultures and languages. We offer clubs in Korean culture, Spanish language, French language, Mandarin Chinese language, and more.
Science Olympiad
Our Science Olympiad program allows students to compete in science-based competitions in areas such as biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Students work in teams to solve problems and demonstrate their mastery of scientific concepts and skills.
Journalism
Our journalism program allows students to develop their skills in reporting, writing, and media production. Students write articles for our school newspaper and produce multimedia content for our website and social media channels.
Social Justice Clubs
Our social justice clubs allow students to explore and address social issues of concern, such as human rights, racial justice, gender equality, and environmental sustainability. Students organize events, campaigns, and projects to raise awareness and make a positive impact.
Debate and Speech
Our debate and speech program allows students to develop their skills in argumentation, persuasion, and public speaking. Students compete in tournaments and hone their skills in various debate formats, such as policy debate, public forum debate, and Lincoln-Douglas debate.
Math Club
Our math club allows students to explore advanced mathematical concepts and compete in math competitions at the local and national level. Students work together to solve complex math problems and develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Philosophy Club
Our philosophy club allows students to explore fundamental questions about ethics, morality, and human existence. Students engage in philosophical debates and discussions, analyze philosophical texts, and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills.
Environmental Club
Our Environmental Club allows students to explore and address environmental issues of concern, such as climate change, pollution, and conservation. Students organize events, campaigns, and projects to raise awareness and take action to protect our planet.
Green Team
Our Green Team is a student-led initiative that focuses on sustainable practices within our school and community. Students work on projects related to energy conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable transportation, and promote eco-friendly behaviors among their peers.
Outdoor Adventure Club
Our Outdoor Adventure Club allows students to connect with nature and develop outdoor skills, such as hiking, camping, and wilderness survival. Students also learn about environmental science and conservation through field trips and guest speakers.
Art Club
Our Art Club allows students to explore and develop their artistic talents through a variety of media, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art. Students participate in art shows and exhibits, and develop a portfolio of their work.
Music Production
Our Music Production program allows students to explore the world of music technology, recording, and production. Students learn about sound design, mixing, and mastering, and produce their own original music.
Theater
Our Theater program allows students to develop their acting, directing, and stagecraft skills, and participate in school productions of plays and musicals. Students also learn about theater history and criticism, and attend performances at local theaters.
Film and Video Production
Our Film and Video Production program allows students to develop their skills in visual storytelling and media production. Students learn about cinematography, editing, and post-production, and produce their own short films and videos.
Dance
Our Dance program allows students to explore a variety of dance styles, such as contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, and jazz. Students participate in dance performances and competitions, and learn about dance history and theory.
Soccer
Our soccer program allows students to develop their skills in one of the world's most popular sports. Students participate in local and national tournaments, and learn about the history and culture of soccer.
Basketball
Our basketball program allows students to develop their skills in one of the most exciting and dynamic team sports. Students participate in local and national tournaments, and learn about the history and culture of basketball.
Volleyball
Our volleyball program allows students to develop their skills in a fast-paced and challenging sport. Students participate in local and national tournaments, and learn about the history and culture of volleyball.
Tennis
Our tennis program allows students to develop their skills in one of the most individual and competitive sports. Students participate in local and national tournaments, and learn about the history and culture of tennis.
Swimming
Our swimming program allows students to develop their physical fitness and water safety skills. Students participate in local and national swimming competitions and learn about the history and culture of swimming.
